This organisation, headquartered in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, holds worldwide leading positions in the production, handling and supply of organic peroxides and metal alkyls, used as polymerization initiators. Polymer Chemicals has 15 production plants in Europe, North America, South America, Japan and Asia-Pacific. The products are primarily used in the production of thermoplastic polymers and thermoset plastic materials, but find various other applications as well.
Sub Business Unit High Polymer Specialties (HPS) delivers initiators, antifouling agents and suspending agents to customers producing thermoplastic polymers.
Functieomschrijving
You will alternately act as lead engineer within large, multi-disciplinary industrial capital projects and as a consultant for complex energy-oriented studies. Studies are on power generation and electrical infrastructure. Working as a lead engineer, you play a coordinating role during project realization, including outsourcing detailed engineering and supervising contractors. You are responsible for managing the complete electrical part of the project. As a consultant, you represent the electrical dept with our customers. Furthermore, it is anticipated that you will enhance the operational scope of the Energy & Electrical competence team by sharing your knowledge, coaching other engineers and providing access to specialized areas of expertise.
Functie-eisen
You have a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering and at least 10 years' working experience in an industrial environment. Experience in acquiring new projects, high-level technical skills and knowledge of project management are indispensable. You are expected to be a good team player who is able to support colleagues and take initiative when required.
