Project Manager
Functieomschrijving
The Project Manager provides quotations incorporating products of this company (turnkey/combined/major projects) wherever possible, in order to support Project Sales management in pursuit of business sales objectives. The Project Manager reports to the Manager Projects & Solutions (services).
Job responsibilities:
1. Preparation
To analyze, interpret, discuss and develop electrical project requirements and solutions (technical) applications, where necessary together with internal departments, in order to provide solutions to customers requirements.
2. Quotation
To produce quotations in line with the company's terms and conditions, technical, commercial and financial requirements, procedures, (technical) standards and customer and company expectations, in order to timely deliver documents to customers.
3. Contacts
To develop and maintain relationships with (national or international) contact, both intern in the company as well as with third parties (e.g. customers and contractors), respecting the companies code of conduct, in order to exchange information and/or have relevant information about e.g. new developments at the company's disposal.
4. Documentation
To collate supporting documentation including product detail and/or supporting layout drawings as necessary for proposal, in line with customers specifications and company's terms and conditions, standards and procedures using company standard software, to ensure that submitted proposal are completely and correctly documented.
5. Administration
To administer all relevant information according to the company's guidelines, in order to assure timely availability for management and colleagues.
Functie-eisen
Training, knowledge and experience:
· Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable through experience
· Min. 5 years experience in switchgear and/or electrical industry
· Knowledge of applications within electrical networks, safety, measure and control systems, including network automation, contractual conditions, relevant
(inter)national divisional or corporate guidelines and systems
· Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
· Written and verbal Dutch, English, optional German
